Rancho Sabio Privacy Retreat
We had so much fun camping at Neil’s Hipcamp. It’s about a 30 min drive outside of Casper so the stars are amazing and it’s perfectly secluded. Neil was great at communicating and his neighbor met us to show us the camping spot and we actually got to camp with her horses who were so friendly. We saw the northern lights and spent the night around the campfire listening to the frogs and staring up at the stars.

Beautiful vistas
The spot was secluded and quiet....it is quite a long way down a private dirt road to get to it, and the host arranged for a guide to show us the way there. It's far enough away from the city that we saw plenty of stars at night, but close enough for a coffee stop the next morning. We were surrounded by horses and prairie dogs....not to mention catching a glimpse of the northern lights!
